Days 1-2:
- Your permanent makeup will appear brighter initially.
- You may experience slight redness and swelling.
Days 3-5:
- Crusts or scabs will start to form.
- Peeling may occur during this period.
- Important: Do not pick at or remove the crusts/scabs, as this can cause infection and pigment loss.
Days 6-10:
- The peeling should lessen, and crusts/scabs should naturally fall off.
- The pigmentation in the treated area may appear significantly lighter; this lightening is expected and normal.
Long-Term Healing:
- Younger Skin: Final color results will be visible no earlier than 28 days after the procedure.
- Mature Skin: True color should emerge between 50-60 days post-procedure.
- Ultimately, the color will stabilize to be 40-50% lighter than what was initially visible right after the procedure, resulting in a softer and more natural appearance.
Vancouver Permanent Lip After Care
Day of the Procedure:
- On the day of the procedure, there is no need for any special preparation for your lips. In the evening, wash your lips with a gentle, acid-free soap or facial cleanser.
- Pat the area dry with a clean, dry paper towel.
- Keep your lips moisturized. Whenever they feel dry, apply a thin layer of the vitamin ointment provided in your after-care kit.
Following Days:
- For the next 5 days, twice daily – in the morning and evening – gently wipe your lips with the cotton pads provided after the procedure. Then apply a thin layer of the vitamin ointment from your after-care kit. Feel free to moisturize whenever your lips feel dry, but ensure you apply only a small amount of ointment.
General Precautions:
- Avoid steaming, applying additional products, engaging in activities that cause heavy sweating, and do not scratch or scrub the area.
- Do not peel off any crusts or scabs that form.
- From the 5th day onwards, you can resume your normal routine.
- Apply an SPF cream to protect the color from sunlight.
Lips Permanent Makeup Procedure Stages:
- Permanent makeup involves two key stages: the initial procedure and subsequent touch-ups.
- For optimal results and longer-lasting effects, a touch-up session is required no earlier than one month after the initial procedure.
- In some cases, more than one touch-up may be necessary to achieve the desired outcome.
